S always looked forward to his speech therapy sessions with Amanda and was very sad when we reached the end of his therapy! Each session started with a chat and a board game or two, which were Samuel’s favourite parts.

Amanda was always very professional – calm, well prepared, confident, knowledgeable – and created a wonderfully positive environment in which S’s efforts were consistently rewarded, meaning he always strove to do his best both in the sessions and while practising at home.

The effects of the therapy were soon evident and have persisted over time. I am so grateful for the positive impact Amanda’s interventions have had on S and would not hesitate to recommend her.

The service received by Amanda Duncan has helped us in understanding how to deal with our son’s stuttering. We have acquired a number of techniques through Special Time and Play-listening that we have used to help our son during his initial stages of the language formation. We have also understood how we, as parents, should communicate better with him.
